But What if You Don't Feel Brave?

Bravery isn’t just about gritting your teeth and bearing it.

There are a lot of scary things in life. Losing a job. A sick child. Finding out you’ve got cancer. We all face fear on a daily basis. Granted, some days aren’t quite as terror-inspiring as others, but some days…yeah. Some days you just want to throw a blanket over your head and call it quits.

You’re not alone in that feeling. It’s part of the human condition. But that’s no excuse to give in to fear. God didn’t create you to be a fraidy cat. He created you to trust in Him.

Acknowledge your fears to God and leave them there, with Him, the only One who can do anything about your feelings anyway.

Sometimes just praying is the bravest thing you can do.
