Choosing Happiness

When life takes a turn onto Crazy Avenue, smiling is still an option.

Some things we can control. What color socks you’re wearing. Whether or not you’re going to eat that chocolate chip cookie. How much money you’ll tip the server.

But other things happen to us over which we have no power. Getting rear ended. Your boss laying you off.  The party animal neighbors that move in next door.

Life is a mix of good and bad, but when the bad happens—and it will—it’s up to you to choose how you’re going to react. Your reactions are one thing you always have control over.

Choose wisely.
