3 Reasons You’ll Love A Rumored Fortune

Welcome to Trevelyan Castle, home of the poorest heiress in Victorian England.

As you know, I usually only post my thoughts on books on my Fiction Friday feature. But don’t get whiplash doing a double take on the calendar today. It is Monday, actually. You’re not going batty. Yet here I am, chatting about a new release. Why?

Because A Rumored Fortune is just that awesome of a read, and here’s why…

1. Stellar Writing

Joanna Davidson Politano pens prose like nobody’s business. Seriously, the chick can write, and it’s a rare bird I sing that kind of praise about.

2. Characters You Care About

The heroine in this book is a spunky gal who is facing big time ruin. Sure, she doesn’t always handle things the best way, but that’s what endears her to the reader. She’s a flawed human, as we all are.

3. A Plot That Keeps You Guessing

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m a jaded reader. Usually I can see things coming a mile away, which isn’t all that bad, really. But some books, like this one, make me whip to the end of the story and read the last few pages while I’m still in the middle because I just can’t stand not knowing what’s going to happen. This is one of those books.

So do yourself a favor and snatch yourself up a copy and, while you’re at it, buy some frozen pizzas to go along with it. You won’t want to stop to have to make dinner.
